About Us
Early Life
Dave was born in the midwest but spent his formative years in Huntsville, Alabama. As the oldest of five siblings, he felt responsible for setting an example for a strong work ethic and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle. He played multiple sports growing up but had a passion for organized basketball which he played through high school. He was president of his sixth grade class and worked various jobs in high school and college to pay for schooling and recreation. Dave got an undergraduate in Mathematics from the University of Alabama and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.
He then spent over 20 years in the IT consulting industry
in various leadership roles managing large software development and implementation projects. During this time he also purchased and leased various residential properties for investment income.

In Sandy Springs
After 20+ years in the IT industry, Dave decided to leave the corporate world, pursue his passion and start a health and fitness business in Sandy Springs. His company, Dyncore Inc, has offered CrossFit fitness coaching, Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic Services and Nutrition coaching to the Sandy Springs community over the last 20 years.
During this time
Dave has served on the executive Board of Directors of Leadership Sandy Springs, graduated from the Sandy Springs Citizens Patrol Academy. served as president of one HOA Board and Treasurer of another. He has organized multiple volunteer projects in Sandy Springs in association with the Sandy Springs Community Assistance Center and other Sandy Springs non-profit organizations. Dave draws deep inspiration from his two sons—Ty and Harrison. Ty, who tragically passed away at just 19, embodied compassion, curiosity, and a love for helping others that still fuels Dave’s commitment to service. Harrison has built a successful career spanning both the medical and advertising industries, reflecting the values of resilience, innovation, and integrity that Dave holds dear. As a father and neighbor Dave brings a personal passion to public service—rooted in love, loss, and the desire to build a stronger future for all families in Sandy Springs.
Why is Dave Running?
Dave is running for City Council because he believes his innovative perspective, strategic approach and consensus building business experience will bring smart and viable solutions to the issues facing Sandy Springs. Dave is also passionate and excited about supporting a vibrant and healthy Sandy Springs community.
